Family Eye Care Optometry specializes in the fitting, evaluation, and prescribing of contact lenses.

 We offer all types of standard as well as custom contact lenses -- soft, extended wear, disposable, tinted, oxygen permeable and toric (for astigmatism). Routine as well as special cases.

New techniques and materials allow many patients previously not able to wear contact to now be fitted with them, and in some cases contact lenses can now be worn by people who need bifocals.

To determine a contact lens prescription, an additional procedure, called the Contact Lens Fit and Evaluation must be performed at the conclusion of the eye examination. New contact lens wearers will receive instruction and training on the proper use and care of their new contact lenses.
